Meet Laura

Laura Coombs Francoise has worked in public service for more than 30 years as a social worker in Fairfax County. She earned a Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1994. The breadth of her experience ranges from serving vulnerable children and aging adults to nutritional services.  Valuing self-determination, women's empowerment and holistic health has guided her work.
